Much work needed

I was struck at how easily I've become accustomed to the damage and carnage of the coast since I first came down. I was looking over some photos that I took in late march (7 months post-Katrina). This was one of the ones that stuck with me. This house over near the beach was a landmark property. I think the van in the forground has seen better days as well. There are literally hundreds (probably thousands) of these properties still in this state in the Bay St. Louis area.
